Construction and properties

The cable is made of silver-plated copper core, ensuring excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation guarantees resistance to extreme temperatures ranging from –190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C), as well as resistance to chemicals, oils, solvents, ozone and radiation. This makes the cable suitable for demanding industries such as the chemical industry, baking, metallurgy or kitchen appliance manufacturing.

The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E. cable has a nominal conductor cross-section of 1.23 mm² and an approximate outer diameter of 2.24 mm. It is designed to operate at a voltage of 600V (type E) or 1000V (type EE) with an insulation resistance of at least 1GOhm x km. The minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter, making installation easier even in tight spaces. The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).

Available cable colors: black (1), red (2), blue (3), brown (4), white (5), transparent (6), two-color (7) and other colors (8). The core can be bare, tinned or nickel-plated – availability on request.
