This red HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.EE cable, with a cross-section of 1XAWG 16/19, is a specialized solution for installations requiring the highest resistance to temperature, chemicals and fire. Designed to operate in harsh conditions, it is suitable for both control panel construction and the chemical industry. Its construction based on PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation ensures reliability and safety in demanding applications.

Construction and properties for professionals

The cable is characterized by a silver-plated copper core, which translates to better conductivity and corrosion resistance. The PTFE insulation, compliant with DIN VDE 0207 part 6 and MIL-W 16878 standards, guarantees exceptional durability and resistance to extreme temperatures – from -190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C). This makes the cable perfect for furnaces, brickworks, kitchen appliances and anywhere where high temperatures or aggressive chemicals are present. In addition, the materials used in production are silicone and cadmium-free, which is important for many industrial applications.

The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking) and has passed tests confirming its non-flammability and flame retardancy (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1). Its dielectric properties (insulation resistance min. 1 GOhm x km) ensure safe and reliable operation of the electrical installation. Minimal water permeability and resistance to microorganisms make it an ideal choice for humid environments and those exposed to fungal growth. The operating voltage is 1000V (EE type), and the test voltage is 5kV.
