The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation guarantees exceptional temperature resistance – from -190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C). PTFE is a material with low water permeability and high chemical resistance, making this cable ideal for use in the chemical industry, bakeries, kitchen appliances, and places exposed to aggressive substances. Additionally, this material is non-flammable and resistant to microbial growth.

The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y cable is widely used in electrical installations operating in difficult conditions, such as furnaces, brickworks, kitchen appliances, and switchgear cabinets exposed to high temperatures. It will also be useful in the chemical industry, where resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents, oils, and gasoline is required. The cable is available in white (symbol 5), but other colors can be ordered by adding the appropriate symbol to the catalog number: 1 = black, 2 = red, 3 = blue, 4 = brown, 6 = transparent, 7 = two-color or 8 = other colors.

The operating voltage is 600V or 1000V, and the test voltage is 3.4kV or 5kV, respectively. The insulation resistance is at least 1 GOhm x km, and the minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter. The operating temperature range is from -190°C to +260°C, and the cable cross-section is AWG 18/19.
