HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y Cable – Reliability in Extreme Conditions
This high-quality single-core cable with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation is an ideal solution for applications requiring resistance to extreme temperatures, aggressive chemicals and harsh environmental conditions. The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y cable is characterized by exceptional durability and reliability, making it an excellent choice for both professional installers and end-users.
Construction and application
This cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C). The silver-plated copper core ensures excellent conductivity, and the PTFE insulation guarantees exceptional chemical and electrical resistance. This makes the cable suitable for installations and construction of control panels operating in extreme conditions, such as furnaces, brickworks, kitchen appliances or measuring devices. It is also indispensable in the chemical industry, where it is exposed to flames, acids, alkalis, solvents, oils and gasoline. It meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).

Additional information: available in black (standard), as well as other colors by adding the appropriate symbol to the catalog number (1 = black, 2 = red, etc.). The core can be supplied bare or tinned/nickel-plated on request. The core cross-section is 0.9 mm², and the outer diameter is approximately 1.94 mm.
