This HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y cable is a reliable solution for installations requiring resistance to high temperatures, aggressive chemicals, and harsh environmental conditions. Made of silver-plated copper and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation, it ensures long-lasting and safe operation in demanding applications.

Construction and Properties

The cable features an advanced construction that guarantees its unique properties. The silver-plated copper core provides excellent conductivity, while the PTFE insulation ensures resistance to extreme temperatures – from -190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C). Additionally, this material is resistant to flames, acids, bases, solvents, oils, and gasoline. Therefore, the cable performs well in the chemical industry, bakeries, brickworks, and measuring devices.

It has a CE certificate, confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. The minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter, making installation easier even in tight spaces. The cable is also resistant to radiation up to 1 x 10⁵ cJ/kg (up to 1 Mrad).
