Highly durable PTFE cable for extreme conditions
This single-core HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.EE cable is a specialized solution designed for operation in demanding environments. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to temperature, chemicals and radiation, making it an ideal choice for industrial applications, switchgear cabinets and equipment exposed to extreme conditions. This cable is particularly valued in industries such as baking, metallurgy, chemical and food processing.
Construction and properties
The HELUFLON cable is made of silver-plated copper core, which ensures excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation guarantees reliable protection against high temperatures (up to +260°C, briefly even +300°C) and aggressive chemicals – acids, bases, solvents and oils. In addition, this material is non-flammable, resistant to microorganisms and fungal growth, and exhibits minimal water absorption and permeability.

Applications and specifications
The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y cable is used in installations and construction of switchgear cabinets operating in extreme temperature conditions – furnaces, brickworks or kitchen appliances. It will also be useful in the chemical industry as a flame-resistant cable and various chemical substances. Available in white (symbol 5), but other colors are also possible after specifying the order (1=black, 2=red, 3=blue, 4=brown, 6=transparent, 7=bicolor, 8=other colors). The cable has a working voltage of 1000V type EE and a test voltage of 5kV type EE. The insulation resistance is min. 1GOhm x km and the minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter.
