Construction and properties

The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y cable has been designed with maximum reliability in mind. Its construction includes:

• Silver-plated copper core: provides excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance.
• PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation – HELUFLON®: PTFE is a material with exceptional dielectric and thermal properties, guaranteeing long-lasting and safe operation of the cable even at extreme temperatures (from -190°C to +260°C, briefly up to +300°C). Meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0207 part 6 and MIL-W 16878.
