This single-core HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E cable, made of silver-plated copper and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation, is a solution for installations requiring reliability in harsh conditions. The cable is characterized by high temperature resistance, chemical resistance and radiation resistance, making it an ideal choice for industrial applications, in furnaces, brickworks, kitchen appliances and in the chemical industry.

Construction and properties

The cable construction is based on silver-plated copper strands, providing good conductivity and corrosion resistance. PTFE-HELUFLON® insulation guarantees exceptional resistance to high temperatures (up to +260°C, briefly even +300°C) and aggressive chemicals – acids, alkalis, solvents, oils and gasoline. Additionally, the material is flame retardant and resistant to microorganisms, increasing safety of use. The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).

The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E cable with a cross-section of 0.57 mm² (AWG 20/7) and a rated voltage of 600 V is available in black color. The minimum outer diameter is 1.67 mm and the insulation resistance is min. 1GOhm x km. The minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter. To order the cable in a different color, add the appropriate symbol to the catalog number: 1 = black, 2 = red, 3 = blue, 4 = brown, 5 = white, 6 = transparent, 7 = two-color or 8 = other color on request. A bare or tinned/nickel-plated core option is also available on request.
