This specialized HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E. wire is a solution for installations requiring reliability in harsh conditions. Made of silver-plated copper and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation, it provides exceptional resistance to temperature, chemicals and radiation. This wire is used both in the construction of switchgear cabinets and in the chemical industry, where standard wiring fails.

Construction and properties

The silver-plated copper core ensures good conductivity, and the PTFE insulation guarantees resistance to extreme temperatures – from -190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C). The wire is characterized by high resistance to chemicals, oils, gasoline and radiation. Additionally, it is non-flammable and resistant to the development of fungi and microorganisms.
