PTFE wire for extreme conditions
This red HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E wire with a cross-section of 0.38 mm² is a specialized solution for applications requiring high thermal and chemical resistance. The wire is designed to operate in harsh conditions, such as furnaces, industrial installations, or chemical environments. Its construction and materials ensure reliability and safety in demanding applications.
Construction and properties
The wire is characterized by a silver-plated copper core, which improves its conductivity and corrosion resistance. The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation – a material with exceptional properties – guarantees resistance to high temperatures (up to +260°C, briefly up to +300°C) and aggressive chemical substances, such as acids, alkalis, solvents, oils, and gasoline. Additionally, PTFE provides low electrical losses and is non-flammable.

The minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces. The insulation resistance is min. 1 GOhm x km, which ensures high quality electrical insulation.
