High-temperature cable for extreme conditions

This specialized HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.EE 1000 V cable, made with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation, is designed to operate in demanding environments where standard cables fail. It is perfect for installations and construction of switchgear cabinets exposed to extreme temperatures, as well as in the chemical industry, where resistance to aggressive substances is crucial.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a silver-plated copper conductor, which ensures excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. HELUFLON® PTFE insulation guarantees exceptional thermal resistance – from -190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C). Additionally, this material is resistant to radiation, microorganisms, ozone, and weathering. Minimal water absorption and water permeability make it an ideal solution in humid and aggressive environments. The cable is also non-flammable and self-extinguishing, increasing safety – it meets the standards of DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, and IEC 60332-1.

Various cable colors are available (black, red, blue, brown, white, transparent, two-color and others on request), which facilitates the identification of conductors during installation. The conductor can be supplied bare or tinned/nickel-plated on request. Remember to choose the appropriate color by adding a symbol to the catalog number when placing an order (e.g., 1 for black).
