PTFE wire for extreme conditions
This high-quality HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E wire, with a cross-section of 0.35 mm² and an outer diameter of approximately 1.47 mm, is designed for operation in demanding environments. It is characterized by exceptional temperature resistance – from -190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C) – making it an ideal choice for industrial applications, ovens, kitchen appliances and anywhere standard cables fail. A rated voltage of 600 V ensures safe and reliable operation in various installations.
Construction and properties
The HELUFLON wire uses a silver-plated copper core, providing good conductivity and corrosion resistance. PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation guarantees not only high thermal resistance but also chemical resistance – it is resistant to flames, acids, alkalis, solvents, oils and gasoline. Additionally, this material is characterized by low water permeability and resistance to fungal growth. The wire meets the requirements of the CE standard, confirming its compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
