Durable PTFE cable for extreme conditions
This specialized HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.EE cable, made with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) fluoropolymer insulation, is an ideal solution for applications requiring reliability in harsh conditions. This cable is characterized by exceptional resistance to temperature, chemicals and radiation, making it indispensable in many industries.
Construction and properties
The cable consists of a silver-plated copper core, ensuring good conductivity, and PTFE-HELUFLON® insulation, meeting DIN VDE 0207 part 6 and MIL-W 16878 standards. This construction guarantees high flexibility and long-term operation even in extreme temperatures – from -190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C). Additionally, the materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not contain substances that interfere with painting.
It is worth noting a number of important properties:
- Exceptional chemical resistance: The cable is resistant to flames, acids, bases, solvents, oils and gasoline – crucial in the chemical industry.

The operating voltage is 1000V (EE type), and the test voltage is 5kV (EE type). The minimum insulation resistance is 1 GOhm x km. The minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter.
