Construction and properties

The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y cable has a silver-plated copper core, ensuring good electrical conductivity. The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation guarantees exceptional resistance to high and low temperatures – from -190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C). Additionally, this material is non-flammable, resistant to chemicals, ozone and microorganisms. Minimal water permeability and the absence of silicone and cadmium increase its reliability and safety. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0881 and IEC 60673 standards.

This cable is widely used in installations and construction of switchboard cabinets operating in extreme thermal conditions.
