Robust PTFE cable for extreme conditions

This specialized HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E cable with a voltage of 600V is a reliable solution for installations requiring resistance to high temperatures, aggressive chemicals and harsh environmental conditions. The cable is characterized by exceptional flexibility thanks to its multi-strand conductor construction, class 5. It is ideal for both building switchgear cabinets and industrial applications where standard cables fail.

Construction and properties

The HELUFLON cable uses a silver-plated copper conductor, ensuring excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation guarantees exceptional chemical, thermal and electrical resistance. PTFE meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0207 part 6 and MIL-W 16878, confirming its high quality and reliability. In addition, this material is non-flammable, resistant to microorganisms and fungal growth, making it an ideal choice for use in demanding hygienic conditions.

• Wide operating temperature range: from -190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C), allowing it to be used in extreme thermal conditions.

• Available colors: possibility to order the cable in different colors (black, red, blue, brown, white, transparent, two-color or other on request) by adding the appropriate symbol to the catalog number (1 = black, 2 = red etc.).

The conductor cross-section is 0.21 mm², and the approximate outer diameter is 1.32 mm. The minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces. The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE).
