High-temperature wire for demanding applications

This red HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E wire with a cross-section of 0.21 mm² is a specialized solution for installations where standard wires fail. Made of silver-plated copper and insulated with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), it ensures reliability in extreme conditions. A rated voltage of 600V guarantees safe use in various applications.

Construction and material properties

The wire is characterized by exceptional resistance to external factors, thanks to the use of high-quality materials. PTFE insulation provides resistance to high temperatures (up to +260°C, briefly even +300°C) and aggressive chemicals – acids, alkalis, solvents, oils and gasoline. The silver-plated copper core increases conductivity and corrosion resistance. Additionally, the materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not contain substances that interfere with painting.

Applications and benefits

The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E wire is primarily used in installations and construction of switchgear cabinets operating in extreme thermal conditions – e.g. in furnaces, brick factories or kitchen appliances. It will also be useful in the chemical industry, where resistance to an aggressive environment is required. Its non-flammability and resistance to microorganisms make it an ideal choice for applications requiring the highest level of safety and hygiene. Minimal water absorption and water permeability further increase its durability and reliability in difficult working conditions. The wire meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE).
