Single-core PTFE wire HELUFLON®-PTFE-5Y 1xAWG24/7 (0.21 mm²) white, 1000 V 25365
Durable PTFE cable for extreme conditions
This specialized HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y cable, made of silver-plated copper and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation, guarantees reliability in demanding applications. This cable is designed to operate in extreme temperatures, from -190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C), making it an ideal solution for installations in furnaces, brickworks, kitchen appliances, and the chemical industry. Its resistance to flames, acids, alkalis, solvents, oils and gasoline ensures safety and long-term operation.
Construction and material properties
The silver-plated copper core provides excellent conductivity, and the HELUFLON® PTFE insulation guarantees exceptional chemical and thermal resistance. PTFE meets DIN VDE 0207 part 6 and MIL-W 16878 standards. The cable is characterized by high insulation resistance (min. 1 GOhm x km) and minimal water permeability, protecting against corrosion and failures. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. Additionally, it is non-flammable and resistant to the development of microorganisms and fungi.
Application and compliance with standards
The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y cable is widely used in installations and construction of control cabinet distribution systems operating in difficult conditions. It is particularly recommended where high temperature and aggressive chemical resistance are required. It meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter, which facilitates assembly even in tight spaces. The operating voltage is 1000V (EE type), and the test voltage is 5kV (EE type).
