Durable PTFE cable for extreme conditions

This single-core HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E cable is a specialized solution for applications requiring exceptional resistance to temperature, chemicals and harsh environmental conditions. The cable is characterized by high reliability and durability, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end users.

Construction and application

The cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range, from -190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C). Its construction based on a silver-plated copper core, insulated with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), provides excellent electrical and mechanical properties. It finds application in installations and construction of switchgear cabinets operating in extreme conditions, such as furnaces, brickworks, kitchen appliances or measuring devices. It also performs well in the chemical industry, where it is exposed to flames, acids, alkalis, solvents, oils and gasoline. Meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).

Additional information: the minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter and the insulation resistance is min. 1 GOhm x km. The cable is available in black (standard), but other colors are also possible after specifying the catalog number (1 = black, 2 = red etc.). The core can be supplied bare or tinned/nickel-plated on request.
