This single-core HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y cable is a specialized solution designed for operation in demanding environments. Construction and properties
The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y cable consists of a silver-plated copper core, ensuring good conductivity and corrosion resistance. The insulation made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) guarantees unsurpassed resistance to high and low temperatures – from -190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C). PTFE also provides excellent dielectric properties and chemical resistance. In addition, this material is non-flammable, resistant to microorganisms and fungi, and completely resistant to ozone and atmospheric conditions. Water absorption is minimal, which translates to long-term reliability.
Application and compliance with standards
This cable finds wide application in electrical installations requiring high reliability and safety. This is particularly important in industrial environments where extreme temperatures, aggressive chemicals or exposure to radiation occur. It meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking), confirming its compliance with European safety standards.
