High-temperature PTFE wire – reliability in extreme conditions

This specialized HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E wire, made of silver-plated copper and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation, is designed for operation in demanding environments. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to temperature, chemicals, and radiation, making it an ideal choice for industrial applications, switchgear cabinets, and devices operating in extreme conditions. This wire is particularly valued in installations exposed to high temperatures, aggressive chemicals, and places requiring high reliability.

Construction and properties – the key to long-term operation

The silver-plated copper core ensures excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The HELUFLON® PTFE insulation guarantees not only high temperature resistance (from -190°C to +260°C, briefly up to +300°C) but also excellent dielectric properties and chemical inertness. This wire is flame retardant, resistant to microorganisms and fungal growth, and completely resistant to ozone and weathering. Additionally, minimal water absorption and water permeability ensure long-term stability of electrical parameters. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium, and paint-inhibiting substance-free.

Please note that when placing an order for a specific wire color, you should add the symbol: 1 = black, 2 = red, 3 = blue, 4 = brown, 5 = white, 6 = transparent, 7 = two-color, or 8 = other colors. The core can be supplied bare or tinned/nickel-plated on request.
