This high-quality HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.EE cable from HELUKABEL is a reliable solution for installations requiring resistance to extreme temperatures, aggressive chemicals and harsh environmental conditions. This cable is used in switchgear cabinets, furnaces, brickworks, kitchen and measuring devices, as well as in the chemical industry. Construction and properties
The cable features a silver-plated copper conductor, ensuring excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation – a material known for its exceptional chemical and thermal resistance – guarantees safety and reliability even in the most extreme conditions. PTFE meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0207 part 6 and MIL-W 16878. The cable is available in blue, which facilitates identification in installations.

Applications and compliance with standards
The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.EE cable is designed to operate at voltages up to 1000 V (EE type) and has been tested for dielectric strength (5kV). It meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter, making installation easier even in tight spaces. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. The cable has passed flammability tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1.
