Construction and Application

The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y cable is characterized by a silver-plated copper core, which ensures excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The PTFE-HELUFLON® insulation (compliant with DIN VDE 0207 part 6 and MIL-W 16878) provides exceptional chemical, thermal and electrical resistance. This cable finds wide application in installations and construction of control cabinets operating in extreme temperatures – from furnaces and brickworks to kitchen appliances and measuring devices. It also performs excellently in the chemical industry, where it is exposed to aggressive chemical substances such as acids, alkalis, solvents, oils and gasoline. The CE mark confirms compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
