This specialized HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y cable is designed for operation in demanding environments where standard cabling fails. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to high temperatures, aggressive chemicals and harsh weather conditions. Ideal for industrial applications, switchgear cabinets, furnaces, kitchen appliances and in the chemical industry. The cable meets the CE standard, guaranteeing compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.

Construction and properties ensuring reliability

The cable is made of silver-plated copper core, which ensures excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. Insulation made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) - a material with exceptional dielectric and thermal properties - guarantees safety and long-term operation. PTFE complies with DIN VDE 0207 part 6 and MIL-W 16878 standards. Additionally, the cable is characterized by high resistance to radiation, microorganisms and fungal growth. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free.

Technical parameters and scope of application

The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y cable is available in brown color (symbol "4" in the catalog number). It is possible to order cables in other colors: black (1), red (2), blue (3), white (5), transparent (6), two-color (7) or other colors. This cable operates in a wide temperature range - from -190°C to +260°C (short-term even up to +300°C). Two types of operating voltage are available: type E (600V) and type EE (1000V), with corresponding test voltages of 3.4kV and 5kV, respectively. The insulation resistance is at least 1GOhm x km, and the minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter. The core can be supplied bare, tinned or nickel-plated on request. It is worth noting the operating temperature range of the core: copper +130°C, tinned copper +180°C, silver-plated copper +200°C and nickel-plated copper +260°C - allowing you to choose the appropriate core material for a specific application.
