Highly durable PTFE cable for extreme conditions.
This brown HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E cable with a cross-section of 0.14 mm² is a specialized solution for installations requiring high resistance to temperature, chemicals and harsh environmental conditions. Made with a silver-plated copper core and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation, it ensures reliable operation even in the most demanding applications. The cable is designed to operate at 600V, and its flexible construction with a class 5 stranded core facilitates installation and routing.
Application and construction
The HELUFLON cable is widely used in installations and construction of control cabinets operating in extreme temperatures – from -190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C). It is suitable for ovens, brickworks, kitchen appliances, measuring devices and in the chemical industry, where it is exposed to flames, acids, alkalis, solvents, oils and gasoline. The copper core is silver-plated to increase conductivity and corrosion resistance. The PTFE insulation provides exceptional chemical and thermal resistance. The cable construction meets the standards of DIN VDE 0207 part 6 and MIL-W 16878.
