Application and construction

The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y cable is widely used in installations and construction of switchgear cabinets operating in extreme temperatures – from -190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C). It is suitable for furnaces, brickworks, kitchen appliances, measuring devices, and the chemical industry, where it is exposed to flames, acids, alkalis, solvents, oils, and gasoline. The cable construction is based on a silver-plated copper core, which ensures excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The PTFE-HELUFLON® insulation meets DIN VDE 0207 part 6 and MIL-W 16878 standards.
