This red HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E cable, made of silver-plated copper and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation, is a reliable solution for installations requiring resistance to high temperatures, aggressive chemicals and harsh environmental conditions. This cable is used both in the construction of switchgear cabinets and in specialized industrial equipment.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction ensuring long-term and safe operation. The silver-plated copper core guarantees good conductivity, and the PTFE insulation provides exceptional resistance to external factors. PTFE is a material with low water permeability and high chemical resistance, making it an ideal choice for applications in the chemical industry, bakeries or kitchen appliance manufacturing. Additionally, the material is non-flammable and resistant to the development of microorganisms and fungi.

• Temperature resistance: The cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C).
• Chemical resistance: Excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents, oils and gasoline.

Technical parameters and application

The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E cable with a cross-section of 0.14 mm² and an outer diameter of approximately 1.19 mm is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 600 V. Thanks to its properties, it is perfect for installations requiring high reliability and safety. This is particularly important in applications exposed to extreme working conditions, such as industrial furnaces, kitchen appliances or measuring systems. Compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU confirms its safety of use. Additionally, it is available in various colors – to order the appropriate color, add the symbol to the catalog number (e.g. 1=black, 2=red). The core can be supplied bare or tinned/nickel-plated on request.
