This specialized HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y cable, made with fluoropolymer PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation, is designed to operate in demanding environments. Construction and properties

The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y cable is available in blue (symbol 3) and has a cross-section corresponding to 1 x AWG 30/7. It is designed to operate at 1000V (EE type) with a test voltage of 5kV and an insulation resistance of at least 1 GOhm x km. The operating temperature range is from -190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C), and the minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter. Bare, tinned or nickel-plated core can be ordered on request to adapt the cable to specific application needs.
