Robust PTFE cable for extreme conditions

This single-core HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E cable, with a cross-section of 0.06 mm², is a specialized solution for applications requiring high resistance to temperature, chemicals and harsh environmental conditions. This cable is particularly recommended for installation in furnaces, brickworks, kitchen appliances, switchgear cabinets and in the chemical industry. Its construction and materials ensure reliable operation even in the most demanding applications.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a silver-plated copper core, which increases its conductivity and corrosion resistance. The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation provides exceptional resistance to high temperatures (up to +260°C, briefly up to +300°C) and aggressive chemicals – acids, alkalis, solvents, oils and gasoline. Additionally, PTFE is non-flammable and resistant to microorganisms, making it an ideal choice for industrial and laboratory applications. The cable has a rated voltage of 600 V.

Applications and installation

The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E cable finds application in a wide range of electrical installations requiring high reliability and resistance to extreme conditions. The minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces. Available in blue color (symbol "3" with the catalog number), but other colors are available on request: black (1), red (2), brown (4), white (5), transparent (6), two-color (7) and other colors (8). The core can be supplied bare or tinned/nickel-plated on request.
