Construction and properties

The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E cable features a silver-plated copper conductor, ensuring good conductivity and corrosion resistance. The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation – a material with exceptional dielectric and thermal properties – guarantees long-lasting and safe operation even at extreme temperatures (from -190°C to +260°C, briefly up to +300°C). Additionally, PTFE is resistant to chemicals, oils, gasoline, and radiation. The cable meets the requirements of IEC 60332-1 (flame retardancy test).

Its flexible construction (conductor class 5 – multi-wire flexible) facilitates assembly even in tight spaces. The minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter. The insulation resistance is at least 1 GOhm x km, which testifies to the high quality of workmanship.
