Construction and properties

The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E cable has a silver-plated copper core, ensuring good conductivity and corrosion resistance. The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation guarantees exceptional resistance to high and low temperatures (from -190°C to +260°C, briefly up to +300°C), as well as to aggressive chemical substances – acids, alkalis, solvents, oils and gasoline. In addition, this material is non-flammable and resistant to microorganisms and fungal growth. This ensures that the cable retains its properties even in the most demanding conditions.

Technical parameters and compliance with standards

The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). Its rated voltage is 600 V (type E), and test voltage 3.4 kV (type E). Insulation resistance is at least 1 GOhm x km. Minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0881 and IEC 60673 standards. Available in blue – other colors available on request (color codes: 1=black, 2=red, 3=blue, 4=brown, 5=white, 6=transparent, 7=bicolor, 8=other colors). The core can be supplied bare or tinned/nickel-plated on request.
