Durable PTFE cable for extreme conditions
This red HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.EE 1000 V cable is a specialized solution for installations requiring high resistance to temperature, chemicals and radiation. This cable, with a cross-section of 1 x AWG 32/7, is designed to operate in harsh industrial conditions, as well as in applications where standard cables fail.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a silver-plated copper core, which ensures excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation – an exceptionally resistant material – guarantees reliable operation over a wide temperature range, from -190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C). PTFE meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0207 part 6 and MIL-W 16878. Additionally, the cable is resistant to radiation, ozone, microcultures and fungal growth. Minimal water absorption and water permeability make it an ideal choice for high humidity environments. The materials used in production are silicone and cadmium free, ensuring safe use.
