The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E cable is a specialized single-core cable designed to operate in demanding environments where standard cabling fails. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to temperature, chemicals and radiation, making it an ideal choice for industrial, laboratory and heating equipment applications. Made with silver-plated copper core and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation, it ensures reliable operation even in extreme conditions. Available in red, which facilitates identification in installations.

Construction and properties

The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E cable stands out with its careful construction, guaranteeing long-lasting and safe operation:

• Core: silver-plated copper – provides good electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. Silver plating increases resistance to high temperatures.
• Insulation: PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) – provides excellent insulating properties, chemical resistance and thermal resistance over a wide temperature range (from -190°C to +260°C, briefly up to +300°C). PTFE is a non-flammable material resistant to most chemicals.
• Flexibility: class 5 core (multi-strand flexible) – facilitates installation and routing of cables in tight spaces.
• Rated voltage: 600 V – allows use in medium voltage installations.

Thanks to these features, this cable is particularly recommended for applications where high reliability and safety are required. In addition, the materials used in production do not contain silicone or cadmium, which is important from an environmental protection point of view.
