This single-core HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.EE cable, made of silver-plated copper and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation, is an ideal solution for applications requiring high thermal and chemical resistance. The cable is characterized by exceptional reliability and durability, making it indispensable in harsh industrial environments.

Construction and properties

This cable is designed for demanding applications. The silver-plated copper core provides excellent conductivity, and the PTFE-HELUFLON® insulation guarantees resistance to extreme temperatures – from -190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C). PTFE also provides excellent dielectric properties and resistance to aggressive chemicals such as acids, alkalis, solvents, oils, and gasoline. Additionally, the material is non-flammable, resistant to microorganisms, and prevents fungal growth.

Applications and installation

The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.EE cable is widely used in installations and construction of switchboard cabinets operating in extreme conditions, such as furnaces, brickworks, or kitchen appliances. It will also be useful in the chemical industry and wherever high resistance to temperature, chemicals, and fire is required. The minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces.

Available cable colors: black (1), red (2), blue (3), brown (4), white (5), transparent (6), two-color (7), and other colors (8) – simply add the appropriate symbol to the catalog number when ordering. The core can be supplied bare or tinned/nickel-plated on request.
