This single-core HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E cable is a specialized solution for installations requiring high resistance to temperature, chemicals and harsh environmental conditions. The cable is characterized by exceptional flexibility thanks to the multi-wire strand construction of the core, which facilitates installation and routing in tight spaces. Ideal for use in the chemical industry, bakeries, kitchen appliances and anywhere standard cables fail.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of silver-plated copper core, ensuring good conductivity and corrosion resistance. The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) insulation guarantees unparalleled resistance to high and low temperatures (from -190°C to +260°C, briefly up to +300°C), as well as to aggressive chemical substances – acids, bases, solvents, oils and gasoline. In addition, this material is flame retardant, resistant to microorganisms and fungal growth, and completely resistant to ozone and weathering. Water absorption is minimal, ensuring long-term reliability in humid environments.

The cable is distinguished by: exceptional thermal resistance allowing continuous operation up to +260°C (briefly up to +300°C), chemical resistance ensuring safe use in aggressive environments, high insulation minimizing energy losses and increasing safety, flame retardancy confirmed by compliance with IEC 60332-1-2 standard, and flexibility thanks to the multi-wire strand construction facilitating installation in tight spaces. It finds wide application in furnaces, brickworks, kitchen appliances, industrial installations and switchgear cabinets.

Technical specifications

The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y T.E cable has a core cross-section of 0.03 mm² (AWG 32) and a rated voltage of 600 V. Its outer diameter is approximately 0.9 mm, and the insulation resistance is at least 1 GOhm x km, which demonstrates the high quality and reliability of the product. The minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter, allowing easy installation in tight spaces. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0881 and IEC 60673 standards and also has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. Available in transparent color – other colors available on request (1=black, 2=red, 3=blue, 4=brown, 5=white, 6=transparent, 7=bicolor, 8=other colors). The core can be supplied bare or tinned/nickel-plated on request.
