This specialized HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y cable is a reliable solution for installations requiring resistance to high temperatures, aggressive chemicals, and harsh environmental conditions. This cable finds application both in the construction of switchgear cabinets and in specific branches of industry, such as baking, metallurgy, or the chemical industry. Its construction and materials guarantee long-lasting and safe operation even in the most demanding applications.

Construction and properties for professionals

The cable is characterized by a silver-plated copper core, which ensures excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The insulation made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) – HELUFLON® – meets the stringent standards of DIN VDE 0207 part 6 and MIL-W 16878, guaranteeing the highest quality and reliability. PTFE provides exceptional temperature resistance – from -190°C to +260°C (short-term up to +300°C) – and resistance to chemical substances, oils, solvents, and flames. Additionally, the cable is non-flammable, resistant to microorganisms and fungi, and exhibits minimal water absorption and water permeability. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium, and substances that interfere with painting.

The HELUFLON-PTFE-5Y cable is intended for stationary installations and the construction of switchgear cabinets operating in extreme conditions. It will also be useful in applications requiring high resistance to external factors, such as kitchen appliances, measuring instruments or industrial furnaces. Available in white (standard), but other colors can be ordered by adding the appropriate symbol to the catalog number: 1 = black, 2 = red, 3 = blue, 4 = brown, 5 = white, 6 = transparent, 7 = two-color, 8 = other colors. The core can be supplied bare or tinned/nickel-plated on request. The operating voltage is type E = 600V or type EE = 1000V with a test voltage of 3.4kV or 5kV, respectively. The minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter.
