Universal installation cable for various applications

This single-core PVC cable H05V-K with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² is a reliable solution for internal wiring. It features a flexible, stranded wire construction (class 5), which facilitates installation and routing in tight spaces. The purple PVC insulation provides good visibility and identification in the installation. The cable is designed to operate in the voltage range of 300/500 V and complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31 / DIN EN 50525-2-31 and IEC 60227-3.

Application and properties

The H05V-K cable is used in the wiring of distribution boards, control cabinets and inside devices. It can be used both on the surface, under plaster, and in insulating pipes in dry rooms. Thanks to its flexible construction, it is ideal for places where easy cable routing is required. Its outer diameter is approximately 2.35 mm, allowing for convenient bending and adaptation to installation needs. The cable is resistant to temperatures ranging from -30°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +70°C (flexible).

Safety and compliance with standards

The cable is made of high-quality materials, and its insulation made of special PVC TI1 ensures safe use. It meets the requirements of IEC 60332-1-2 regarding behavior in the event of a fire. The insulation resistance is at least 10 MOhm x km, which guarantees reliable operation of the installation. The minimum bending radius is 4 x cable diameter, which prevents damage to the wire during installation. Additionally, the cable is resistant to radiation up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 80 Mrad).
