Single-core PVC cable – reliability and versatility of applications
This grey, single-core PVC cable H05V-K with a cross-section of 1 mm² is a solid choice for both professionals and end users. Designed for a wide range of applications in electrical installations, it combines safety, flexibility and ease of installation. The cable is supplied in a practical box, which facilitates storage and transport.
Construction and properties
The cable is made of stranded copper core, class 5 flexibility – this ensures high flexibility and facilitates routing of cables even in tight spaces. PVC (polyvinyl chloride) insulation guarantees good protection against mechanical damage and external factors. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V, making it suitable for many standard electrical installations. The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 2.7 mm.
The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31 / DIN EN 50525-2-31 and IEC 60227-3, which confirms its high quality and safety of use. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. In addition, PVC is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant – tested according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1.
