Single-core PVC wire – a reliable choice for electrical installations

This H05V-K single-core wire is a versatile solution for a wide range of applications in electrical installations. Made of stranded copper, covered with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation, it provides safe and efficient power transmission. The wire is particularly useful in wiring distribution boards, control cabinets and inside devices. The possibility of use in dry rooms, both on and under plaster in insulating pipes, makes it very versatile.

Construction and properties

The wire is characterized by a flexible construction thanks to the multi-strand core of class 5, which facilitates installation and routing of wires in tight spaces. PVC insulation provides good protection against mechanical damage and external factors. The wire is designed to operate in a temperature range from -30°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +70°C (flexible), which guarantees its reliability in various operating conditions. The rated voltage is 300/500V, and the test voltage is 2000V. The insulation resistance is at least 10 MOhm x km.

Application and compliance with standards

The wire meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31 / DIN EN 50525-2-31 and IEC 60227-3, which confirms its high quality and safety of use. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. The wire has passed self-extinguishing and flame-retardant tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1. This makes it a product compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The minimum bending radius is 4 x cable diameter, which facilitates installation even in difficult conditions. Radiation resistance is up to 80 x 10^6 cJ/kg (80 Mrad).
