This single-core PVC H07V-K wire with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² in red, supplied in a practical drum, is a versatile solution for a wide range of electrical applications. Construction and properties

The H07V-K wire is characterized by a construction consisting of a multi-strand, flexible copper core and insulation made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). This combination provides flexibility during installation and resistance to mechanical damage and external factors. The copper core is twisted in accordance with DIN VDE 0295 cl. 5, BS 6360 cl. 5 and IEC 60288 cl. 5 standards. The insulation is made of special PVC TI1 compliant with DIN VDE 0207-363-3 / DIN EN 50363-3 and IEC 60227-3. The wire is designed to operate at a rated voltage of up to 750 V (450/750 V) and a temperature from -30°C to +80°C for fixed laying and from -5°C to +70°C for flexible connections.

Application and benefits

The H07V-K wire is used in the wiring of electrical installations in pipes, on and under plaster, and in closed cable trays. It should not be laid directly in gutters, ladders or cable corridors. It is ideal for wiring devices, switchboards and lighting. Its red insulation makes it easier to identify the phase wire, which increases safety during installation and maintenance. The wire meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31 / DIN EN 50525-2-31 and IEC 60227-3 standards, which confirms its high quality and compliance with European safety standards. Additionally, it is flame retardant according to EN 60332-1-2 – important for ensuring fire safety.
