Single-core PVC wire – a reliable choice for electrical installations

This black, single-core PVC wire H07V-K with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² is a versatile solution for a wide range of applications in electrical installations. Thanks to its flexible construction and high-quality materials, it ensures safe and durable connections. The wire is supplied in a practical spool, which facilitates its storage and transport.

Construction and properties

The wire is made of stranded copper core, which guarantees good electrical conductivity. The polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation provides effective protection against mechanical damage and external factors. The core has class 5, which means it is multi-strand and flexible – this facilitates installation, especially in places requiring precise cable routing. The rated voltage U0/U is 450/750 V, allowing it to be used in installations with different operating voltages. The wire meets the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31 / DIN EN 50525-2-31 and IEC 60227-3, confirming its high quality and safety of use.

Application and installation

H07V-K wire is ideal for laying in pipes, on and under plaster, and in closed cable ducts. It can be used for wiring in devices, switchboards and lighting. It is not recommended to lay it directly in cable trays, ladders or cable corridors. The minimum bending radius during installation is from 4 to 6 cable diameters (depending on the diameter), which allows for easy cable routing even in tight spaces. The operating temperature range of the wire is from -30°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +70°C (flexible), making it suitable for use in various environmental conditions.
