Universal installation cable for various applications

This blue single-core H07V-K cable with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² is a versatile solution for electrical installations. It is suitable for both new construction and renovations, providing safe and reliable connections. It is supplied on a reel, which facilitates its storage and unwinding.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of stranded copper wire, which ensures good flexibility and ease of installation. PVC (polyvinyl chloride) insulation guarantees resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric factors. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31 / DIN EN 50525-2-31 and IEC 60227-3, which confirms its high quality and safety of use. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/750 V, and the outer diameter is approximately 3.8 mm. This makes it suitable for installations with a working voltage of up to 1000 V AC or 750 V DC to ground.

Application and installation

The H07V-K cable is intended for laying in pipes, on and under plaster, and in closed cable ducts. It should not be laid directly in gutters, ladders or cable corridors. It is ideal for wiring in devices, switchboards and lighting. The flexible construction makes it easy to route cables even in tight spaces. The operating temperature range is from -30°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +70°C (flexible), making it suitable for use in various environmental conditions. The minimum bending radius is ≤ 8mm for cables with a diameter below 8 mm and increases with the cable diameter – it is worth taking this into account during installation.
