Electrical wire – reliability and safety of installation

This purple single-core PVC H07V-K wire with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² is a solid choice for both professionals and home use. This wire, manufactured in accordance with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31 / DIN EN 50525-2-31 and IEC 60227-3 standards, ensures safe and efficient power transmission in various installations. Its flexible, stranded construction makes installation and routing in tight spaces easier.

Construction and properties

The wire consists of a twisted copper core, which ensures good conductivity and flexibility. PVC (polyvinyl chloride) insulation guarantees resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric factors. Rated voltage up to 750 V (or 1000 V in some applications) and insulation resistance of at least 10 MOhm x km confirm the high quality of workmanship. The wire is also resistant to radiation up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (80 Mrad), which extends its lifespan even in harsh conditions. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting.

Applications and installation

H07V-K wire is ideal for wiring inside buildings – in pipes, on and under plaster, and in closed cable trays. It will be useful in lighting installations, electrical switchboards and household appliances. The minimum bending radius (depending on the cable diameter) makes it easy to route cables even in tight spaces. It should be remembered that the wire must not be laid directly in gutters, ladders or cable corridors. The flexible PVC insulation allows operation at temperatures from -5°C to +70°C (flexibly) or from -30°C to +80°C (stationary). The wire has a CE certificate, confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
