Universal connection cable for a wide range of applications

This single-core PVC cable, designated as H05V2-K 0.75/AWG19, is a versatile solution for internal wiring. It is suitable for both electrical installations in buildings and inside devices and distribution boards. Its construction and approvals make it particularly useful in export applications and in the machine tool industry.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a multi-strand copper conductor class 5, which provides it with high flexibility and resistance to bending. The PVC insulation guarantees good protection against mechanical damage and environmental influences. The cable is available in blue-white color, which facilitates identification in the installation. Designed to operate in a temperature range from -40°C to +90°C (flexibly from +5°C), and under UL (AWM) conditions even up to +105°C, making it reliable in various working conditions.

Compliance with standards and versatility

This is one of the few cables that meets as many as five standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31, DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063, UL-Style 10269 (and 1015) and CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. Such a wide range of approvals allows it to be used in many countries and applications without the need to have many different types of cables. This simplifies the parts list and reduces storage costs. The cable also has HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire approvals. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V (up to 1 mm²), and the test voltage is 2 kV for cross-sections up to 0.5 mm² and 6 kV for cross-sections ≥ 0.75 mm². The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter and ranges from 4x to 6x the outer diameter of the cable.
