Electrical wire for wide applications

This flexible single-core wire with PVC insulation, designated as H07V2-K 10/AWG8, is a versatile solution for internal electrical installations. It is suitable for both distribution boards and inside electrical devices. Its construction and approvals make it particularly useful in export applications, as well as in demanding industrial environments, such as machine tools.

Construction and properties

The wire is characterized by a cross-sectional area of 10 mm² and a rated voltage of 450/750 V. It is made of multi-strand, flexible class 5 conductor, which provides good flexibility and facilitates installation. The polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation guarantees good resistance to abrasion and chemicals. The outer diameter of the wire is approximately 6.7 mm.

This wire stands out due to its compliance with five standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31, DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063, UL-Style 10269 (also Style 1015) and CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. Such approvals allow for its wide application and simplify the homologation process in various countries. Additionally, it has HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire approvals – which translates into cost savings related to maintaining the bill of materials.
