Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a multi-strand, flexible class 5 core, which provides high flexibility and easy installation even in tight spaces. The insulation made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) guarantees good resistance to abrasion, chemicals and weather conditions. The cable is available in dark blue, which facilitates identification in multi-core installations.
Designed to operate at a rated voltage of 450/750 V, this cable offers safe and reliable operation in various applications. Its core cross-section of 2.5 mm² (equivalent to 14 AWG) allows for the transmission of sufficient current without the risk of overheating. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 3.8 mm.
Applications and compliance with standards
The cable meets the requirements of five standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31, DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063, UL-Style 10269 and CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. It has approvals HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire, which confirms its high quality and safety. It can be used in machine tools and for internal wiring of distribution boards and electrical devices. The CPR E ca mark demonstrates its compliance with European standards regarding reaction to fire. It also has CSA C22.2, VW-1 and FT1 certificates.
