Connection cable for wide applications

This flexible single-core cable with PVC insulation, with a cross-section of 4 mm², is a universal solution for internal wiring and electrical connections. It will be suitable for both industrial installations, distribution boards and electrical devices. Its construction and approvals make it particularly useful in export applications, as well as in machine tools.

The cable meets as many as five standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31, DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063, UL-Style 10269 (also Style 1015) and CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. This ensures a high level of safety and reliability. HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM, CSA-Equipment-wire approvals allow you to simplify the bill of materials and reduce storage costs.

Construction and parameters

The core is made of flexible stranded copper (class 5), which ensures its flexibility and resistance to repeated bending. The PVC insulation guarantees good protection against mechanical damage and external factors. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +90°C. The rated voltage is 450/750 V. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 4.3 mm.

The use of yellow-green coloring makes it easier to identify the cable as a protective (PE) conductor. The cable also complies with the CPR Eca standard – a classification concerning the fire reaction of cables and building wires. The minimum bending radius is 4x the outer diameter of the cable, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces.
