Single-core PVC wire acc. to UL/CSA SINGLE 600-J 1G35 mm² (AWG2) yellow-green 10889
Flexible cable for universal applications
This 1kV single-core flexible cable is a robust solution for connections requiring high flexibility and resistance to external conditions. The cable, with a cross-section of 35 mm², is designed to operate in a wide temperature range, both indoors and outdoors. Yellow-green insulation ensures easy identification as a protective conductor.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a construction that ensures high reliability and durability. Made of stranded copper wire, it has PVC insulation that is resistant to abrasion and mechanical damage. The outer jacket, also made of PVC, provides additional protection against atmospheric and chemical factors. This makes the cable suitable for demanding industrial conditions, production lines, conveyors and machines.
- Flexibility: Construction with a class 5 multi-wire core provides high flexibility, making it easier to install and lay the cable in tight spaces.
- Temperature resistance: The cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +90°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +90°C (flexible).
- Safety: Yellow-green insulation makes it easy to identify the cable as a protective conductor, increasing the safety of the installation.
- Chemical and UV resistance: The materials used in production are resistant to many chemicals and UV radiation, extending the life of the cable.
- Compliance with standards: The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking) and has UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 certificates confirming its fire-resistant properties.
Applications and installation
The cable is used in electrical installations requiring a flexible connection of wires, especially where movement or vibration occurs. It is ideal for mechanical engineering, powering portable devices and temporary installations. It should be remembered that the cable is not intended for direct burial in the ground or laying under water. The minimum bending radius during installation is 7.5 x cable diameter (flexible) or 4 x cable diameter (stationary). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 13.6 mm.
