Single-core installation wire – reliability and safety in your installation
This blue-white single-core wire 07V-K with a cross-section of 6 mm² is a solid choice for both professionals and end-users. The wire is designed for versatile use in electrical installations where durability and safety are paramount. Made from high-quality materials, it meets stringent European standards.
Construction and properties
The 07V-K wire is characterized by a single stranded copper core, insulated with special PVC (TI1), which ensures flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. The PVC insulation is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant, increasing safety in the event of a short circuit or overheating. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting – this guarantees care for the environment and long-term operation. The insulation resistance is at least 10 MOhm x km, ensuring effective protection against current leakage. The wire is resistant to radiation up to 80 x 106 cJ/kg (80 Mrad).
Application and installation
This wire is ideal for wiring distribution boards, control cabinets and inside electrical devices. It can be used both in dry rooms and outdoors, as well as concealed in insulating pipes. The minimum bending radius is 12.5 x cable diameter, making installation easier even in tight spaces. The operating voltage of the wire is U0/U 300/500 V, and the test voltage is 2000 V. The operating temperature range is -5°C to +70°C (flexible) and -30°C to +80°C (stationary). Core markings comply with DIN VDE 0293, and recommended colors are black, white, blue, gray, brown, red, orange, turquoise, purple and pink (subject to regulations regarding green and yellow).
The wire has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EG.
