High-temperature single-core cable – reliability in extreme conditions

This 600 V single-wire cable with HELUFLON insulation is a solution for demanding applications where standard cables fail. Made of stranded copper conductors coated with FEP fluoropolymer insulation, it provides exceptional resistance to temperature, chemicals and radiation. Ideal for both professional installers and end-users who need a reliable connection in harsh conditions.

Construction and properties

The cable features a flexible construction with a multi-strand copper conductor (class 5), which facilitates installation and ensures long-term reliability. The FEP-HELUFLON® insulation guarantees resistance to extreme temperatures – from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C). Additionally, the cable is resistant to radiation, chemicals (alkalis, acids, oils, gasoline) and microorganisms. The minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter for flexible bending and 4 x cable diameter for stationary bending.

• Exceptional thermal resistance: The cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range, making it ideal for use in furnaces, brickworks and heating devices.
• Chemical resistance: No worries about the effects of aggressive substances – the cable is resistant to acids, bases, oils and solvents.

• Radiation resistance: The cable retains its properties even under the influence of ionizing radiation up to 1 x 10^6 cJ/kg (up to 1 Mrad).
• Safety: Self-extinguishing and flame-retardant material, tested in accordance with DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1 standards.

The nominal conductor cross-section is 16 mm², and the approximate outer diameter is 7 mm. The rated voltage U0/U is 600/600 V.
