Robust single-core cable for extreme conditions

This white 600 V single-core cable from the HELUFLON series is a solution for demanding applications where standard cables fail. Made of copper and FEP fluoropolymer insulation, it ensures reliable operation in harsh thermal and chemical conditions. The cable is characterized by its flexibility thanks to the multi-wire strand construction of class 5, which facilitates installation and routing.

Construction and properties

The HELUFLON cable stands out with its high resistance to extreme temperatures – from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C). The FEP insulation provides excellent dielectric properties and resistance to aggressive chemicals such as alkalis, acids, oils and gasoline. Additionally, the material is radiation-resistant and flame-retardant, increasing the safety of the installation. The copper core is available in an un-tinned version. The core cross-section is 2.5 mm², and its approximate outer diameter is 2.8 mm.

Applications

This cable finds wide application in industrial installations, construction of distribution boards, and in devices exposed to high temperatures and the action of chemicals – furnaces, brickworks, heating devices, kitchen and measuring devices. It is also ideal for use in the chemical industry, where absolute resistance to corrosion and flames is required. Thanks to its properties, it is perfectly suited for use in difficult environmental conditions.
